Removing drivers side mirror

I tried searching but didn't have any luck.

I got a chip on my drivers side mirror while driving on the highway and when I washed my car a large section of paint just flaked off, after inspecting it looks like it was a replacement mirror that was previously red, now black, but the paint job wasn't very good.

I need to know the best way to remove the mirror before I start tearing the door apart.

I really hate taking door panels off, I'd rather replace anything in the engine than work on the interior. I'd just take the whole car to the body shop and let them do it, but the weather doesn't permit me moving my car and I'd like to have it done before I'm ready to take it out.

Thanks for any help.

Edit: Well I found this Click Here, ugh I really hate taking off door panels, any tips?

The door mirror is held by 2 or 3 10 mm nut. You have to remove the inner door panel to access the back of the inner door. It is not very hard, just take your time. Both my mirrors got replaced due to impact from highway debris.
