hey if someone can help me out ..i have a 2003 nsx and want to remove the badge on the front bumber i think it would look alot better..i have removed the one in the rear because it was on the plastic light and figured it wouldnt have any holes..but the front bumper worries me ..has anyone taken it off ..does it have holes behind it ??thanks

I bought the '02 badge

There are two holes behind the badge, just under one inch apart.

Getting the badge off w/o removing the bumper is not easy - there are clips behind that you cannot get to unless you remove the bumper.
I've seen it suggested that you could pry up the emblem enough to be able to cut the pins, letting the rest of the pin with the clip attached fall inside the bumper. I can't comment on how successful that would be w/o damaging the paint on the bumper however.
You will be left with holes afterwards - probably less desirable than the emblem.

theWB,

Funny that you want to remove the front badge.
I just put it back on again. I have been driving around for more than a year without one since the car came without one. However, slowly, it started nagging me. In the end, I ordered one from Dali Racing and then had it around the house for more than two months. Last Monday (yes, 21st) I wanted to do the Odyssey battery install but it was kinda late so I decided to put the logo back on.
Here are some pictures with the car without the logo:

Putting it on was straighforward. When looking up close you could still see where the holes had been filled. One minute with a 4mm drill and two minutes to put the logo on. Has a self-adhesive back.
I'm not sure if the OEM logo is the same so it might be difficult to get it off. It's plastic so you might break it free. Have no idea what it what look like underneath though.

theWB, did you end up removing the badge? How did it go? I see that many say that the prongs need to be sawed, but those that are giving that guidance are '91-'01 owners that have the old version of the badge and not the open badge.

Do you think the instruction on page 3 is applicable to the 2002+ NSX?

Any other feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan
