Question-

Is it possible to remove the front suspension components without separating the ball joints? Now that I have the steering rack out, I thought it might be nice to soda blast the parts before re-installing the rack. But, not sure if I can just unbolt the control arm/compliance pivot assembly from the car or not.

Hi,

Yes you can do this but will require you to get an alignment. The only thing that is tough to get out is the upper control arm bolt. The brake line bracket is in the way of the bolt going back in. I had to grind a very small part of the bracket down to get the bolt out. I sprayed some plasti dip on it after just to provide some protection from the elements. You could probably use undercarriage spray as a better method to do that.

Thanks- this is really helpful.
