Reinstall header stud in cylinder head

I've searched the archives but didn't come up with answers for the following

One of the exhaust studs came out of the head during my header install.
I've also not been able to remove the O2 sensors so they are still in the old manifold.

To replace the stud it I assume you put two nuts on the header side of the stud and put it back in

My questions are:

1) Is the two nut method correct for reinstalling the stud?
2) What is the correct torque for the stud?
3) Do you put Locktite on the stud? If so which Loctite number?
4) Is it okay to heat the manifold around the O2 sensor or carefully use some PB Blaster to help loosen the O2 sensors?

Thanks
Jim

I can't answer all of your questions.

1+2) I's use a new stud.
3) I would not put Loctite on it. If the stud ever breaks in the future you're in double trouble. I'd put some anti-seize on it like ceramic-paste (not copper-paste as it's aluminium).
4) heat ok, PB Blaster definitly not ok unless you throw the sensors away. Use tools that is especially designed for removing o2-sensors, they're worth it.

I have never had a problem caused by using PB blaster or any other penetrating fluid to ease removal of an oxygen sensor. Heat is also your friend. I would install the stud just snug enough that it stays put. A couple ft/lb maybe.
