Recommendation on replacing shift knob.

My shift knob is very worn on my OEM 93 NSX. I need some recommendations as to replacing it with a OEM one or get the Z-type titanium one. SOS has a clone of the Zanardi for $99.00, or I can get the real deal for $250+? I believe the OEM shift knob at acura is about $160.00. I don't care for the NSX-R type round knob.

Gabe, I would seriously consider the oem 04-05 NSX shift knob. I changed mine out to it and love it. It really feels solid. Here's a pic of it on my car:

I have since changed out the NSX-R shift boot and put it back to the original vinyl one.

Dali Racing sells the OEM shift knob for $125. I just got a new one yesterday as my original was very worn as well.

I kept my titanium knob from my Integra Type R (which I believe is the same knob as on the NA1 NSX Type R) and then placed it onto a OEM NSX Type R shifter boot. I like the shorter shift action. Considered the Zanardi, but didn't like the very tall look or feel.

Maybe I won't get the Z style knob. I don't want it to be any higher that is already is. How easy was it to change to the short shift kit? Is it very hard?

You guys are killing me. There are so many upgrades and options for my NSX. It's a never ending wish list and $$$$$$$$. I like it though.

I'm actually going to work today. Another manager want an extra day off. Let's meet up tomorrow Friday afternoon or evening?? I have a DMV appointment at 330pm. Who knows how long that will take. If your available. I can't drive your car. I may end up wanting an NA2 and upgrade. DANGEROUS! hI can sit in it though to get the feel of the shifting.

Let me know if you guys have plans. I might 50% go the S.F. to check out a NA2 Red NSX with a friend. It has not posted on any ads yet. This is only if you guys are busy tomorrow Friday the 13th.

i have this MUGEN shift knob. It actually feels pretty good compared to others ive had. The 5 speed shift knob that i have even comes with a plaque that has the H pattern symbol on it. It looks pretty good with the type r carbon fiber shift boot that i purchased from sos. I dont have any pics right now to show because my camera crapped out but here is one from this one website.... check it out...
