Hey guys,

I scraped up my lip while tracking. I decided to go without a lip since my NSX is mainly a street car now. However I am scared of not having the proctection of a lip. I kinda want something that is not stock and preferrably a bit more durable. I really don't plan on tracking the car much so I don't mind a bit lower lip. So far all I have looked at is SOS's choices. Any other recs?

P.S. I have a Type R susp. so the car is 1/2" lower. I live in East Texas where EVERY parking lot/shopping center has a big dip and makes for a difficulty entry/exit.

TIA

My oem lip has been scratched/scraped with the same susp. I looked at prime specificly paying attention to lips:eek: Anyway the shine lip from SOS caught my fancy so voila.

There ya go! It has a little splitter thing goin on plus its not too deep. Some folks don't paint it as it hides damage better.

me2...

My OEM/stock '97+ front-valance lip has also seen better days. I also have the Comptech lower-bumper lip already painted in Berlina black (it was previously installed but removed later), but it tends to cause damage to the front lower-valance instead of breaking-off like the OEM/stock lip (it's more securely/semi-permanently installed to look proper).

Hence, the interest in getting a durable/flexible lip for a '91-'01 OEM/stock front-bumper application (something other than Wings West, and nothing w/ FRP, CF, Kevlar, etc' - no matter how much flex additive... prefer it to be urethane/etc').

I really like the Shine lip a lot, as well. But, does it look out-of-place on an NSX that has the '91-'01 OEM/stock side-skirts & rear-valance? I don't plan to go w/ '02+ or after-market side-skirts & rear-valance. I noted in various pics that the Shine lip hangs slightly lower than the OEM/stock front lip. It may just be the angle. Is it noticeably lower, for those w/ the '91-'01 OEM/stock side-skirts & rear-valance?
