Hi Fellas:
I live in Irvine. Can anyone recommed a good Alignment place. I wanted to go to Clarks Suspension in Lake Forest but they only open M-F and wanted to charge me $90. Please suggest. My car keeps wanting to go to the right and I have to steer left to compensate.

Thanks, -- Ed :)

Ed I just redid the setup on my car and visited ALL the SoOC alignment shops. Even had an appointment with Marvin's. But Marvin couldn't get it on the rack (too low?) and couldn't use his MACHINE because of the configuation of the "modified" front end configuation. All BS!!!, he was in over his head IMO. Clark's was the only guy who knew his stuff, worked on NSX's before and was recommended by Tustin and MV Acura. He isn't the cheapest or the friendlest, but he is the best. My $.02 Gil

I know there is one shop in Monterey Park. I believe it on Garvey Ave, east of New Ave.

They did a lot of cars for DAZZ (ZZAD) before.

i recommend clarks as well. he just aligned my nsx. used to do the sol too. he's in lake forest.

I had mine aligned at Wheel Warehouse in Anaheim, guy name max did a decent job. Cost $120.

HW Motorsports on Harbor Blvd between Westminster Blvd and Trask did a 4 Wheel Alignment for me as a favor for only $40.00 but he charges others a little more. Saw him do the whole thing in about 45 minutes. He did work on my S2000 as well. Max at Wheel Warehouse is great as well. Lotsa good ones out there.

There was a yellow NSX with Rims on their lot. That price was a Tan only price. Yes, they do use a somewhat up to date 4 wheel alignment machine. He basically asked me how I drive the car and where I drive the car then went to work.

Thanks for the input. I decided to go to Clarks Suspension next week. Priced kinda high but most people says he's good with lowered cars. Price for front is $70 and $120 for all 4 wheels.

I've had good experiences with Best Value Tire in Huntington beach, owner is Mike, the tech I dealt with is Brent. Brent is very friendly and patient in explaining what an alignment is to me :)

Regular 4 wheel alignment on hunter machine is $49, 18+ wheels, they charge a $10 adapter fee

Best Value did a good job with the alignment of all 3 of my cars. They do use the Hunter machine for alignment.

The 2 alignment guys there are good. Other than Brent, the other hispanic guy has been there for a long time. He did my X and I'm very happy with the result.

But the last time, after they lost a couple of good guys, I used them to swap out the tires for my Legend, they managed to scratch up my wheels. Unless they have hired someone more compotent, I won't trust them with tires installation. I believe Doug H had worse experience with their tire guys.

There are 2 Mikes there. Make sure you ask for Maxwell. The other Mike was trying to jack up the price after M Maxwell quoted me over the phone.

Good luck picking the right shop!
