I took this from my 1991 with 35k miles...
The unit was completely disassembled, cleaned, refurbished and all o-rings and seals replaced. Then pressure tested for leaks and solenoid tested for 100% operation.
I was able to source o-rings to replace all rubber pieces.
Extensive cleaning of all aluminum parts to ensure leak test passed.
This is a great replacement for those who have been having issues with their ABS/ALB, or have pulled the fuse because they just were not able to get the problem resolved.
Rebuilding these units is not something your dealership will tackle. They will however charge you $3000.00 to replace this unit. New this part alone is: $2300.00. Sos has a replacement kit for $2000.00 to update the ABS/ALB.
This completely rebuilt unit is a bargain at $750.00 plus shipping.
