Hey guys,

I need your opinions on this one. How much is a reasonable price to have the following jobs done by the dealer?

- Timing Belt
- Water pump
- Valve adjustment
(Dealer quoted me $1300++ labor & parts for the 3 above)
while doing the timing belt I would also replace the FF:
-Cam seals
-Oil Pan gasket
- Valve cover gasket
Any other gaskets or jobs you would recommend? I also notice some minor oil leaks on the engine.

Thanks for your help!

:D :D

$1300 sounds reasonable for t belt and water pump and valve adjust. But look out the other stuff will add up fast. Look at doing the Spool valve gaskets while every thing is apart and check the oil pressure sending unit for leaks. Also the Valve cover gaskets should be included in the t-belt replacement price.

Look in the FAQ (Maintenance - Costs) for the scheduled maintenance items, which most of these are. Add 10-20 percent (costs have gone up since those were originally reported).
