Rear window fogging up

I have a stock '91 auto, and the rear window is almost constantly fogged up. Doesn't matter if it's hot or cold outside, or even if my windows are down - of course turning on the defrost fixes it. But is there something that needs to be fixed so my window isn't always fogged up?

Thanks.

It's not normal that's for sure. You might have a slow coolant leak - can you smell anything unusual? Have you had your dealer/mechanic check it out?

my coolant tank developed a slow leak a while back. as I was driving , the rear window started to mist up. may be the case. also check the insulation around the engine cover, it may have hardened and thus allowing the heat from the engine bay to rise.

I'm not sure this would matter. My engine cover has been removed for years and I don't suffer from any misting problem unless I'm driving in the wet or a coolant hose blows!
