Rear view mirror not working

My driver side rear view mirror will not adjust, but the passenger side works fine. Are there any trouble shooting suggestions?

Yes, I made sure it's all the way in place, but no luck. All the way meaning in the control pad.

In case you have not already done so, run through the troubleshooting procedure in the service manual. It starts on page 23-250 (page 1236 of the PDF version).

The mirrors on the side of the car are usually called the "side view mirrors", not the "rear view mirror". The rear view mirror is the one that sits on the inside of the top center of the windshield. (Hence rbirling's quip...)
