Looking at the NSX manual for rear upper A arm removal and can't decide to do it myself or spend $ to have it done. I don't own a lift.
I'm going to have Thom install the rear camber kit on the rear upper A arms.

Looking at the manual I think the shocks can stay in place but the hub needs to be removed? Any opinions on if this is a DIY or have the "shop" do it.

Thanks in advance for your response,

You need to get the special tool (separator) in place to push the ball joint stud out (upward). You will need to remove the axles to do this.

EDIT: correction - You need to remove the hub/splash shield NOT the axle:). Sorry brain fade.

If doing this yourself: after taking off the castle nut, either turn the nut around and screw it on the end to protect the retaining pin holes from getting smushed (end of bolt will mushroom:eek: ) or use different nut. To be more safe use two nuts dialed out to the end of the bolt this will give more threads to push against. A few of us who have done this have mushroomed the end of the bolt:frown: .

I'm doing a DIY writeup (almost done) and will post it tomorrow. It's definitely a Do It Yourself project as long as you are willing to rent/purchase the separator tool and have a LARGE breaker bar/cheater bar at your disposal.

its work to remove all 4 arms for one hours i wil try to post photos what to do if you need this
