I was wondering why the hole is so big in the mount that the bolt goes through for the rear transmission mount.
The bolt fits snug into the rubber isolator, but has loads of play in the aluminum lugs lets call them or ears!!! lol
Just wondering.
I guess the thing to do is to leave this loose until all parts are back into the car and then tighten this to spec with everything settled.

Trev,

Since the holes in the ears appear normal, not elongated or opened, your assessment about torquing once the parts are back in the car, and 'On the ground' is the correct course of action, as per the tech manual.

Why the holes are larger, I dont remember that much slack when I had my gearbox out, but the larger hole does make getting the bolt installed easier.
