Guys,

I'm a bit new and recently got my NSX and noticed that there was condensation formed in the tail lights! I was hoping there was a string of photos on how you take em out and replace the gaskets or can you simply just dry em out and put em back on?

Thanks,
Tim

Welcome and congratulations! Search this thead and you'll find a couple of posts that provide the info you are looking for with or without pics. Some remove their lights and drill one or more small holes at the bottom to vent any condensation that may be forming. It all depends on how compromised your lights are and how much rain/washing your car gets as to whether that fix will work or not. Replacing worn/old gaskets is another potential fix.

Once you get the hang of this website, you'll find just about everything you're looking for and more, including great help from others. Good luck.

I must be a veg cause I can't get anything about tail lights using Wiki. Help if you can.

Common issues..

The easiest step is to tighten all the nuts to see if it goes away. You have to take off the plastic taps on the trunk liner and you should see all the nuts once you pull out the trunk liner. The ones at the corner are tough to get to, but it is do-able.

..just don't overtighten, you can break the plastiic that the screws are essentially 'glued' to.. don't ask me how I know

FYI... I've done the repair on the center lens by doing the dunking in the hot water method. If you take your time and slowly pry apart, reheating here and there, it worked very well. I re-heated a few time to get the remaining glue (goo) cleaned out, filled with silicone and presto! no vapor builing up inside. I plan to get to the others soon but I know they will be harder to get apart.
