Man what do i do? My rear taillights are fugginf up on me looks like little water in them. Some one told me drill three small hole on the buttom of the lights. It might break the lights though or show. ANy soggestions please help Mustafa?

I had considerable moisture inside the center tail lens of my '93 when I bought it in August of 2k. After storing it covered with the oem car cover inside a garage that winter, the moisture disappeared and has not returned. I guess I've been lucky.

Ok, I've checked both above mentioned threads because I'd really want to eliminate the problem that also affects my car.
My questions to those that drilled the two holes is: where exactely did you drill them? Is it not possible to have a close-up picture of this work? It would help me (and I imagine others in the same situation) very much!

Thanks a lot and merry x-mas!

You do have to remove the taillight assembly, because you drill straight up from the bottom. You cannot see the bottom edge of the assembly while it is installed. I will send you pictures, but even knowing that the holes are there you cannot see them. I would need you email address to send you pictures I took this morning, but you cannot see the holes in the pictures or by looking at the car.

I would have to pull the taillight assembly out of the car to take a picture of the weep holes.

Thanks Roy,
I spent one hour trying to remove the rear left taillight but without success. I rmoved the carpet and unscrewed the six(?) 8mm nuts but I could not remove the part, I applied some force but it did not move. What should I do? Should also the center part be removed?

I am *very* impaired in these kind of works that are not straightforward...

I have forwarded pictures of the center section and left taillight assembly. I would expect that you would be disappointed that you will not be able to tell where the weep holes have been drilled. I will remove one of the assemblies and take more pictures, but it will have to wait at least a week.

Regards,
Roy
