I"ve noticed when i looked in the rear view mirror of a 91 nxs that i test drove, that the overhead liner was sagging, center rear by rear window. I pushed it back up hoping that it would snap back in place but it did not. How do you fix this & anybody else have this problem? It is only sagging at the edge, center, about 1/4" down & 6" wide. Any info would help. THANKS

There are several (5? 6?) push pins hold up the headliner. They break once you pull them out of their socket and they need to be replaced.

You are probably going to have to pull down the entire rear of the headliner to install the center one. So get all new pins. You have to be careful when realigning and pushing the pins back into the roof body.

I believe that you might have to remove the upper quarter garnish too and that is a real PITA to do it without breaking off the clips. I used long screwdrivers and a lot of hot white light to see what I was doing.

Hopefully that is the problem and that you didn't damage the socket for the clip in the headliner, its all pasteboard anyways.

Good Luck

Drew
