Rear Main Seal question

So my problem ended up being the clutch. I just ordered an OEM twin disc from the dealer and wanted to know what were the differences between the three rear main seals Honda offers. They have the same dimensions, same price, same manufacture, diff part numbers.

Any suggestions? I was going to call acura on Monday but maybe I can get an answer here sooner.

This may not answer your question but I recommend you cancel the clutch order. IF you ever go SC or Turbo OR you sell your car, a SOS sport clutch
will be ready for more power. It offers super light petal pressure and smooth engagement.

As for the main seal, can't help you there but I'm sure someone will be along shortly.

There are actually two for 1991:

91214-PNA-014 OIL SEAL (80X98X10) (ARAI) 001 1991 NSX 11.46 8.54
91214-PL2-003 OIL SEAL (98X80X10) (NOK) 001 1991 NSX 21.52 16.03

Two different brands, either will work, I typically use the 91214-PL2-003(NOK), the other just seems too cheap to me;).

I only use OEM its last the longest, and your not pushing 3 tons to press in any aftermarket clutches they sell.

some of the other aftermarket clutches feel like the old 5.0 mustangs at the end of the day your clutch leg is 3 times bigger from doing presses all day in that one leg only LOL

I feel the same way. Its more about how you drive. Plus im not a turbo type of guy. I like the all motor reliabilty and response. I dont have the type of cash to build a relaible turbo setup. So for all motor I dont see how a factory twin disc could not be enough. Like I said its mainly about how you drive the car. Im pretty good at preserving clutches. First thing that has to go is that fluid DAMPER!!

getting rid of the damper made my clutch nicer to operate, definite improvement in feel
