Rear Disc Brake Hardware

I can't seem to find the rear pad retainer/clip for 97+

It's #16 in the following parts diagram. I've also searched various aftermarket offerings and all seem to lack that part for the rear brakes. It's readily available for the front brakes. Any ideas why this part does not appear to be available/required anymore?

Also, is it the same part used in the rear 91-96 calipers? I know the pad retainer clips are a different part# between 91-96 and 97+. The fronts retainer clips are the same for all years.

That's because there actually is no retainer clip required for the 97+ rear calipers. The diagrams on most US Parts websites serve dual purpose these days for all years. If you look at the Japanese Parts suppliers and click on the retainer clip it actually says that the part is not applicable to the 97+ caliper.
