I'm doing an NSX brake conversion to my Acura Legend coupe and was hoping y'all could help me out.
1. Are y'all's rear brakes drum/discs?
Explanation:
Mine are both drum and discs, utilizing the drum for the e-brake only, discs for stopping.
2. Does your e-brake use a cable to lock your perspective braking system directly, or hydraulicly?
Explanation:
Should be relatively clear why I asked this. If it's a rear drum/disc combo then the drums are cable activated, saving me a WHOLE lot of work.
3. How thick are the rear rotors?
Explanation:
My rears are single "disc" non-vented rotors and I will need to upgrade to your rear rotors. I'm curious about this because I just ordered a set of HRE's in 18 x 8, +55 offset.
4. Where is your master cylinder located? Is it typical with other Hondas as being interchangable?
Explanation:
If I'm going to be upgrading all around I'm going to have to upgrade my master cylinder.
Any other foreseeable issues?
Thanks in advance,
Matt
