I recently noticed i have little rear brake presure after doing a brake bleed. I have a 2000 nsx and there seems to be no preasure flowing past proportioning valve. Any help? Could there be a block in the rear lines? I repalced the proportioning valve and the abs unit........same problem.

the rear rotors are showing a bit of rust (meaning not catching) and when i bleed the rears there is no fluid coming out of the bleeder. thanks for any ideas or help.

I am a bit confused.....isn't the proportioning valve on the NSX an integral feature of the master cylinder?

Why would ABS replacement be required?

Does this car have the original brakes or a big brake kit?

it has changed on the 2000 nsx...............the proportioning valve is below the abs unit. i replaced the unit to see if i was not getting enough preasure and i replaced the proportioning valve to see if it was clogged.

Do you have any brakes? I first thought you had a bad master cylinder but looking at the manual the brakes are cross corner connected so if the master cylinder was bad you would have problems with one front and one rear. I think you must just be having trouble bleeding; the right rear can take some time. Do you have help, or speed bleeders, you should only open the bleeder when pressing down on the brake petal and close the bleeder before releasing the petal.

thats what i thought and did did and spent about 20min trying to bleed. My braking is about 5% in the rears(not driving car cause of this). Any suggestions. I do have a stiff pedal all the way too which makes me think there is a block. Any thoughts?
