Rear Acura Emblem

Folks-

I was wondering, can one replace the rear taillight rectangular piece which says "ACURA", with the new 2002 piece which has the silver "A" symbol? Are they interchangable and if so, approx. how much $$$ are we looking at?

I'm thinking of doing the same project.
Just take the "ACURA" sign off and leave the inside bare. Get the "A" logo at a dealership and just tack it on the outside.

I was quoted $23 for the logo.

Looks very nice.

I don't like them either. I prefer the smooth flowing lines of the lights.
