RTR had a fantastic weekend in St. Petersburg, Florida. Ryan Eversley qualified on the pole for round 3 over the 40 car field. Then proceeded to lead the field around the streets of St. Petersburg for 50 minutes. Peter Cunningham qualified 14th, finished 11th.
Round 4 and race 2 of the double header, Ryan qualified 8th, finished 7th and Peter qualified 22nd, finished 14th.
Peter has been saying that he thought the AWD TLX-GTs weren't as competitive on the dry tracks....I think he's sand bagging.
This is the first full season for the team in GT with new cars. This kind of first year success is almost unheard of in racing. Especially at this level. Maybe Honda F1 could learn a little from these guys. Congratulations RTR. Next up is the Toyota GP of Long Beach.
