I now have a reason to watch the GT part of the Speed Championship, however
I thought the cars had to be in production to race?

ummmmmmm the Sentra WAS Realtime Racing. PD owns RTR, and the sentra was just another car in the stable with the Acura's because Nissan tossed PD a bunch of money.

Anyway I think you meant to say That you are glad to see PD back in a Honda.

PD owned both RTR (running the Nissan Sentra in TC) and Realtime (running the Acuras)... IIRC, but they kinda did a chinese wall thing between the two, albeit a pretty weak one
