A couple of the holes that the coil covers bolts to are striped, I was thinking of how to repair the threads and was wondering about filling the bad holes with J-B weld and re-threading them, has any body tried this or is there a better solution like a larger bolt size?

Pick up a Helicoil kit at a parts store. When I get home I can check the exact kit number. Check with me next saturday. The kit has the correct size drill bit, tap and all the tools to install the helicoil. I had the same problem. It works great. To do the best job you need to remove the valve cover and use a drill press to keep a true hole.
