While I have received a number of perceptive suggestions for remedying my rough running issue, in the event I do not succeed, can anyone recommend a competent NSX 'specialist' in the Annapolis area other than the dealer that may solve the problem?

Your best bet is to visit Ben at Daisy Import Auto. Other people drive much further than you would have to.

No luck? I'm confused. When I Google it I get both the Google page for him and his page is the top result. http://daisyimportauto.com

Ben has been working on NSXs for a long time. He is on Prime as [MENTION=14909]redbird92[/MENTION] but not often these days. His shop almost invariably has a number of NSXs in it. He is known for being thorough. Some see that approach as overly expensive. He has done a lot for me and I consider him a friend. If you PM me I can give you his email address.
