Royal Crown Draft cola, a premium cola made with pure sugar cane.. ahhh.. They tasted pretty good to me. They came out around a decade ago. They stopped the production, and now I want some! Where can I get these? I'll even try the expired ones (hey, it can't be too bad)

I doubt you will find any around.

You might find a soda bottle collector who has one but it will probably cost you an arm and leg.

When coke switched to new coke then brought back the original the also switched from pure cane to corn syrup I heard

That reminds me of the one type of dr. pepper that is made in the south somewhere. I believe what makes theirs different is that they use pure cane. They're the only bottler in the country that still makes it like that. You could try them if you want your cane fix.

had it all the time in Chicago. Most pizza places ONLY carried RC...

there is an rc cola plant down the street from my neighborhood. Pretty sure they only have cans in there though.

Also, many bottles of soda imported from Mexico use cane sugar. These are typically fairly cheap- $1-1.50/bottle for Coke or Pepsi. Check the ingredients first, though, as I've found corn syrup ones too, but the ones that have "cane sugar and/or corn syrup" typically taste more like cane sugar ones (look at the original packaging, not the sticker the US importers slaps on them).

As someone mentioned, tiny local pizza joints usually carry them. I don't know whether you have any in your area, but you should try find one of those "soda stores" where they carry all sorts of sodas from around the world. Alot of the the tiny "start up" home brew companies sell their stuff there. You might find RC there too.

Do not buy a carbonated product like this RC if it is more than a year old and expect it to taste good. They have a shelf life, opened or not. I have a few bottles from the 60's as well as Clemson's national championship commerative bottle from 1981, but I would not drink what's in there!

The small Mexican restaurants usually have them (at least around here). There's also a liquor store here that sells various sodas. It's one of those things that you just have to look around for...
