I found this video I made racing in the rain on the racing track of Spa Francorchamps in 2003. Here you can see how fast the racing Integras can corner in the rain. Weight was an important issue here.

Thank you all. Yes it was an amazing race.

In the sixth lap I had to let the Integra's pass, because I overheated my rear slick tires. You can see my loss of grip coming out of the hairpin (La Source) at the beginning of the straight.

After watching the video and having driven in heavy rains yesterday, central florida when ernesto was coming down, straight roads and around 60+mph I have to say you have some damn good driving skills...and a large pair to boot! Btw saw two cars off in ditches yesterday, one SUV and an Altima, LOT of rain on the roads.

I have to admit, before the start it is a bit scary, but as soon as the wheels are running and the battle begins it is just thrilling and pure excitement.
It is amazing how well the NSX performs in the wet.
In the first race I used S03's tires. As you can see they performed very good. The Integra's used Yokohama's full wets. These full wets perform in the rain as the S03's do in dry conditions. So to say, the lap times with Yokohama full wets are almost the same as the lap times of the S0's in the dry.

In the second race (the part with the vido from the rear) I used full slick tires. That is really a compleet other story. These tires have so much more grip than street tires.

I have a video in another thread (Spa 2005). In this race I use full wet tires. It really is stunning what you can do with these tires when it rains (even heavy rains).
