I removed my supercharger a few weeks ago and discovered now that the AM radio no longer gets any reception. I'm not sure if the two are related. Anyone have any ideas what might be the problem?

I had the same problem after installing my supercharger; and now my keyless entry wont work.

Check the inline fuse on the harness to the module under the glovebox. You may need to remove the tray to get access to it.
It seems to be a relatively common occurrence when you disconnect & reconnect battery that the fuse can blow. Similar stories of when jump starts are utilized.

Hummmmmmmmmmm. Owned my NSX for 'bout a year and never even tried the AM freq......Hummmmmm.

Did you forget to reconnect the engine ground wire, do you have the one by the alt. or the one from the bulkhead to the head cover?

My car does not have that wire. I did reconnect the ground wire by the timing loop.

Maybe I'll take the dash apart and look at the wires near the radio one of these days. I may have disconnected something when I removed the gauges.

Bringing an old thread back to life here. Its been a year and I'm finally getting around to fixing this problem. Where is there an inline fuse under the glove box? What do you mean by remove the tray? I've taken the panel off under the glove box and don't see any fuse.

I'm really stumped by this problem. I don't get any AM reception and get poor FM reception. Both the rear and window antennas are connected to the radio. I can't find where any ground wire is not hooked up. Could my radio have gone bad?

If you refer back to my original post you will see I quoted Bridgewater Acura & the fuse suggestion was related to his keyless entry problem, not your radio.

I was afraid of that. He says in his post "I had the same problem" but then talks about his keyless entry too.

Thanks to Briank for troubleshooting the problem. Turns out there is a connection in the mast antenna wire at the firewall behind the drivers seat. Mine was unplugged.
