Antenna is fine. AM comes in fine and plays my CD's. The FM just sounds like there is no antenna or something but again the antenna is hooked up and works fine. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance.
For the most part the AM uses the fender antenna and the FM uses the hatch glass antenna. Have you had the head unit out or have been working on the bulkhead behind the drivers seat?
I thought the glass hatch antenna was for the old cell phone!! I'll check out those connections but I have a feeling it maybe the radio because when on FM and I hit scan it scans once and then gets stuck. Of course that may be because it isn't getting a signal but I think it would continue to scan until it finds a signal. Thanks for your thoughts and I will check the glass antenna.

You sure about that?
I mean, we dont get the antenna in the hatch, only the one on the fender.
Basicly, we in Europe never did much with AM, mainly FM, the reason we always had cars with long vertical antenna's.
If i remember my schooldays on frequency technologie, it had something to do with standing waves and flat waves, but then give me any 1 and 0 and i'm fine, RF....not touching it... thats like voodoo to me :frown:

FM antenna is the long fender mount and the hatch antenna is a diversity antenna.... ie the radio takes the signal from which ever is stronger.
And for the record, the FM reception of the stock radio sucks. I live down in a valley and can't pick anything up in my garage while my two other cars have no problems. Once I get to the top of the hill it's better but doesn't really start picking up a decent signal until I get closer to downtown. The NSX headunit is really one of the worst headunits I have ever seen as far as FM - the only redeeming quality is that it has pre-out level output that you can tap for a real amp.
