Radio Display Not Working???

out of the blue...my display on my facotry bose stereo went out. on one day out the next??? the radio seems to be working fine as well as the in-truck cd changer. i just can't tell what station i am listening to?

anyone else have this problem? my sons plays in the car from time to time and i am wondering if he his something accidentially.

The radio face is attached to the circuit board via two small ribbon connectors. Its possible one of these jiggled loose. You'll need to remove the console and disassemble parts of the radio to get at it.

Pay special attention to step 9. In that picture, you will see the ribbons I am referring to. If the ribbons are in fact attached, you may need to replace the radio.

Used radios show up on the marketplace from time to time. You can get one from another member for a price somewhere between $150-$300 depending on condition.
