Hey guys!!

How do you measure how much coolant you have in your coolant resaviour in the trunk bay?

I cannot see through mine, So I am constantly shinning flashlight thru it trying my best to figure out how much coolant I have...only thing I can see to use as a judgment call is the thick line but its hard to read.

what do you guys do?

Touch a finger to the outside of the tank while you use the flashlight.
Move your finger to get its shadow (visible inside the tank) to line up
with the fluid level. Then look outside and see where your finger is
relative to the high and low marks.

Get a brighter flashlight :D

I just shine a Fenix P1D CE at max brightness at the side of mine from the inside - works fine to see the level. Which I was doing a lot when it cracked.

Good ideas guys, I was wondering the same thing. I have a newer bottle, but can't see through it either.

Thanks for the good suggestions.

I second the dipstick method. I was trying to figure the same thing out over the weekend. I just grabbed a piece of wooden dowell, dipped it, and then compared it to the outside of the tank. Making a notched 'stick may be in the cards.
