sounds great. what kind of reception did you recieve when you brought a nsx to a pantera track meet? and how does it feel compared to your gt5?

Thanks....

I'm been hanging out with the Pantera crowd for almost 8 years. So they were OK with it. At first the additude was no big deal, it's only a 6 banger Honda. After passing everyone in my division, we became the car to beat
Everybody took it well...Their friends & brothers first and formost. We just have a lot of fun hanging out together no matter what we race....They've already given me the nickname Riceman....

Much different than the GT5. Lighter, quicker and handles like it's on rails. Very happy with it the way it is, but....more changes are in the works. Going to have Autowave rebuild the motor sometime soon to 3.2 or 3.4 and put a R35 turbo on it. Bring it up to around 500 HP. Great car, wish I hadn't waited so long to get one.

I liked this quote:

catman351 (3 weeks ago) I think that's the point. We Pantera owners as a whole rather have BRUTALITY rather than efficiency.

I enjoy both worlds...

Nice seeing you here.....How are you doing with your new NSX ?

GT5 or as we Pantera brothers call you, Coz, nice going. We enjoy the best of both worlds, but underneath we're all car guys and gals.

Henry,
Stock calipers and Racing Brake 13" floating rotors with Hawk HP+ pads.
They are working great....No fade and great stopping.....So far so good.

GT5,
You tracking your beast on oem brakes? How are they holding up??
Henry.

Ah, the RacingBrake bbk ..... aren't they awesome?! You're using HP+ pads for track use? I bought the DTC-60 pads but haven't installed them yet. I hope they're not overkill.

Henry.

Yes, they are awesome...Yes on the pads, seem to be working well. I'm checking them all the time to see how there wearing. So far so good.

Nice vids, Jim. Make them longer next time! ;)

Are you using any ducting on the front brakes?

Thanks....I'm still waiting for the full disc to get here from Hawaii that my partner took. Most of what he took was too big for him to e-mail me. When they get here I'll upload some more footage....

Yes, using Dali's front ducts and have modified the shields to allow the rotors to capture more inward air flow.

The set up really worked great on the track. Through 8 -30 minute sessions, I never had any brake fade or problems.

Since your in the Santa Maria area, are you going to the US Sports Car Invitational in Monterey this coming weekend ?
