Racing Shoe advice

I went by our local racing store and they had G-force racing shoes for 79.99. Are they any good? They had 2 models. One with one velcro strap and one with two that was another couple inched higher up the leg.

What do you all recommend?

There are driving shoes and racing shoes. Driving shoes is not Nomex lined but last longer. Racing shoes is nomex lined, and very thin, don't last very long. My last Sparco shoes lasted me 2 years of HPDE and racing. I tried Sparco, No Fear, and FILA schumacher replica. I like Sparco the best, with NoFear second.

I have the Sparco Top Driver which is a boot and more suited to formula cars for most people I would think. I also like the Diadora shoes if you can find them.

I use these, in the "Rallye" version. Once broken in they're gold. NOMEX lined with reinforced sole in the heel-n-toe areas. Plus, you don't look like a clown in the pit area.

I agree these are so comfy I had to get two pair.
