Racing school near L.A.

hi! i'm looking for racing school near L.A. area
i live in anaheim and willing to go to school before i start to work!
i just moved here and have no idea where to go.

i don't want any racing school like nascar style though....
i'm interested in drifting and course racing
share some info with me!! please!

i found out that those schools don't offer any classes in jul. and aug. 'cause it's too hot out there. well, still searching for some place i can drive myself on the track with or w/o instructors.
any place i can try?

Here's a link to a bunch of folks that do track events in SoCal. Click through the Western Sponsers section.

Also just go the individual tracks web site calander and see who's running each day. Get ahold of them and ask to join in. My bet is between the 3 major tracks around here you could be driving at least once a week.
