The DASH2 is a street-legal dash display product, which can work as a stand alone unit with the factory ECU/factory sensors. Out of the box using the factory sensors, it can display tach, speed, and four sensors such as fuel level, coolant, manifold pressure/boost, oil pressure, odometer, trip meter, and programmable shift lights. A variety of sensors (like fuel pressure, oil temp, etc.) can be added simply by addition of aftermarket sensors (requires use of DL1 or AEM EMS interface for more than four sensors).

It can also work in conjunction with a stand alone engine management system, like the AEM EMS, to display any data the ECU sees with out having to wire each sensor independently.

The DASH2 is $865.00, more information can be found here:

A one-off carbon fiber panel was constructed by ScienceofSpeed to mount the DASH2 in to the factory dash for a clean look. There has been some interest to produce a mold to make this insert a production part. We would be able to cover the tooling costs if we can get an order of three or more. The panel would be $350.00 if constructed out of carbon fiber. A package price for the DASH2 & carbon fiber mounting panel would be $1,175.00. It would look the same as below with out the aluminum insert with the switches installed. Customers would trim the insert for the dash and install the switches. If there is enough interest, we'd be willing to recreate the billet insert with the switch labels as well.

If you are interested, or have questions, please post here.

regards,

Can the menu, select and up down buttons be relocated? Is this dash dimmable? How plug and play is it? Is is it fast or does it have some lag to it as for as readouts? Looks great, i wanted to purchase one a few months ago for my motorcycle, bit the mounting location was a problem. I believe it does video out as well. Thanks in advance for answering the questions.

could you have it mounted say on a hinge so when at the track you could flip it up but normal driving you still use the standard gauge/dash?
Or if you had an aftermarket wheel you could attach it to that as an option when needed.

The switches can be mounted where ever you'd like them to be.

Not dimmable, however, it is a very pleasing light volume at night.

Very fast readout, which can be programmed to be damped for certain sensor you like, that should be fluttering (ie. coolant temp).

I suppose the factory dash and this could coexist, but that would be fairly complicated - I don't think this is ideal for that.

How does it install? Is it something that needs cutting etc. I am wondering if it
is possible to go back to stock without drilling into the stock mount area?
