from the bmwcca race school this past weekend, the quality is pretty poor but my car is visible in many of the shots. there's a nice session at the 2:30 mark where i pick up several positions at the start

the accord was driven by a guy named bert who is actually a track official at vir, anyone who has driven there has probably seen him working, often at pit out. despite being outgunned in the car dept he was right there with everyone else and did a helluva job.

are you sure you don't want to rethink that last question?

that's why my nsx is for sale, i'll need a dedicated race car if i get serious which in all likelyhood means bmw (maybe e30, probably e36).

we had 20 or so cars for the start exercises, a couple of them were ringers (experienced racers) to make things interesting. i think we ended up with five starts, after #5 we were in race mode for several laps which was great. then there was a final graduation race exercise but only six cars participated due to the rain and lateness. more pics and info here:

Don't do it..... your race budget will be 10x a HPDE budget. You are going to get suckered in by the ego.
