Lots of good advice here. As far as the roof, I'm more in line with Wild Turkey than Old Guy. My car is a "low mile" garage queen (sunny days only). The roof is always stored in the clamshell. I have a lightweight aftermarket cover that unfolds and has suction cups that stick to the door windows when parked, that keeps the sun and dirt out of the interior. It is called a Carbrella. I'm not to sure they are still available, but I expect someone could reproduce it if they had one to go by quite easily. I'd be lost without it, as it goes on in a minute, unlike the stored roof panel.
