R12, R134a

Has anyone of the older 1991,1992 owners did the conversion from R12 tot R134a refrigerant with the HONDA retrofit kit?
(P/N 38020-SM4-A1AH)
I'm putting in a new compressor, and since R12 can't be found here in Europe anymore I would like some more info.

there are R-12 alternatives now that don't require you to do any sort of conversion. perhaps you can find one of the alternatives in europe.

Freezone HotShot12 is one that is an exact drop in replacement, although with a good flush,vaccum and oil change R134 is a very close drop in replacement for R12.

I know, I tried to delete my post when I saw there was an R12 post already, but for some reason, I wasn't allowed to do that....
