R12-->R134A conversion

Or, know of anyone w/ R12 in the Orange County, CA area?

I wouldn't do this myself. There are too many risks with the A/C system. If you don't remove all the R12 from the system first, the system is under pressure and you could injure yourself. And you won't be able to recover the expensive R12 you're removing from the system.

Expect to pay about $60 for the conversion kit, $40 for the R-134a refrigerant, and two hours of labor.

Have you tried NSX Modified? I don't know about recharging R12, but I'm sure they can convert you to R-134a. That's sure what I would do if my system lost its R12.
