Wondering who here has installed these lights on their NSXs. Which ones did you install, and do you have any pictures? Thanks in advance.

I had the standard equipment Canadian daytime running lights. I took them off because they interfered a bit with the nose mask. I've since removed the mask as it would scrape and rip going up driveways, but the lights are still off.

You can install both the Canadian DRL lights like the picture in the last post, or you can get European Fog lights. These are true driving lights.

They mount up very nicely with no modifications required...you will need to make some connections to the electrical system and get a switch, as the US car don't have the wiring for these lights.

There is a guys selling a complete set of European Fog lights on the NSX part for sale section...asking $300.00

If you are looking for the Canadian DRL lights I have a spare set.

PS: theses thing are expensive1

The JDM fog glass is very thick... almost a centemeter thick.

I needed DRLs when I exported my car to Canada and decided that true driving / fog lights were the way to go. I wired the fogs together with the front side markers. They are wired to IG2 but now that I've passed Federal Inspection, I think I'm going to wire the lights to my cruise switch since I'm not using it for anything...

The JDM fogs are as bright as the driving lights. I can drive at night with only the fogs on.

in a shameless ripoff of Acura NsX Pilot's style..
i placed my fogs like his...very sharp.

nose fascia a little droopy from their weight,
had to refasten around left light.
bit of a wall eye effect, no??
all fixed, used remote on/off
easy install, nice illumination.

And just like Bailey, you too have that ugly front plate mounted, come on Doc, you need to get a set of pelotas and ride without the front plate!!

hey, that's a dali cf front license plate holder!!

the state police need a uniform surface to bounce the
half dozen laser speed guns they own thruout nj...

pelotas eh... had to look that up, dr roger....

No kidding. When I broke one (actually, broke a REPAIRED one) I was quoted $425 (Canadian) for a new one. Another reason I don't have them on my car...

Yeah I just replaced my driver side one because the plastic had cracked from a large rock, and it was on the order of CDN $350+ (and that was the 20% off price from the dealer!). What a rip-off...

No Front plate violations add up but if you can afford go right ahead.

We don't have front plates in Alberta. When you order plates for your car, you get one plate and that's it. The only time you get two these days is if you order vanity plates ($200.00+ for the pair).

We use to require a front plate up until about 15 years ago. Fines for driving without a front plate at that time was $5.00.

They pop you for $60 ticket + $50 surcharge = $110 for no front plate

Vanity plates one time fee of $43 and $25 a year there after.

:frown: I could only wish. $196.00 + 7% GST just to get the plates. Then $60.00/year plus service fee to register those plates.

What model driving lights are on Charles's car? They look like PIAA.
I was thinking about the HID PIAA fog lights (990)- any experience with them vs. true driving lights?
Thanks.
