Here's a million dollar question for all you NSX Tech's out there:

I've removed all four calipers from my 91 NSX in preparation for having them powder coated. A friend of mine who is a Honda Tech broke the calipers down for me. However, we can't seem to get the Needle Roller Bearing out of the rear calipers. THE QUESTION: Does this bearing need to be removed prior to powder coating or can it just be covered up during the process ??

Many thanks to those with the correct answer.

Looking over the manual there is no info on removal and replacement of the bearing. I would see if the bearing is available from the dealer and if they are get two new ones. The old bearings may survive the heat of the power coat process but on brakes I like to always error on the side of caution and put in new parts. If new parts are available take out the old bearings in pieces if necessary before coating and install new after.

I would PM MiamiNSX. He has done this and would know for sure:).

I agree with Andrie, just protect them from the powder coating itself as the temperature in the baking process is typically lower than the calipers will get under prolonged heavy braking.
