Hey guys with BBK, I'm curious as to how often you replace your rotors. What type of BBK you have, how many miles/track events you put in before replacing would be nice info to have. Thanks!

Anyone else to add to the list?

I thought rotor warpage was determined to be an old wives' tale?

I bought one of the first Porsche BBK back in 1999 and have run a minimum of 10 track events per year. I replaced the front rotors once (that was at the beginning of this year) and resurfaced the first set of rotors once. Also, a set of stock Porsche pads usually last one season. BTW, my replacement cost for the rotors was $177 each plus freight. Compared to using 2-3 sets of stock rotors on my 95 per season and replacing pads every two to three events, I consider this purchase a bargain. Plus you never have to worry about your brakes. When I bought my Zanardi late in 99, it was a no brainer to transfer this kit over. One thing to note, if you don't run "R" compound tires, don't waste money on BBK. You need the grip to take advantage of the braking ability.ak said:Hey guys with BBK, I'm curious as to how often you replace your rotors.
