question about trailer hitches for SUVs

I'm looking into getting a trailer hitch for my SUV, and adding a bike rack or something that can hold bikes and other big boxes.

I have no idea where to start looking. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

I would highly recommend uHaul - they did a great job on a Toyota Tacoma years ago for me, and they did a great job installing the electronic brake controller and fixing the messed up wiring that the Mercedes Benz dealer did when I had them install the hitch on my ML55. Had I gone to them in the first place, I would've saved 1/2 than at the dealer (I thought the ML55 would have a special hitch because of the dual exhausts, etc, but uHaul can provide those even for a limited production suv).

Trailer hitches are easy to install, usually only 4 bolts(Class 3)
Most newer cars have the wiring already there.

Very easy to do, save yourself some money, or buy it and your mechanic can put it in for you.
