Question about NSX and OBD

When was the NSX changed over from OBD1 to OBD2?

I ask this because I have a project that may involve borrowing NSX coil packs to use on a different car.

The next question would be, with OBD2 NSXs, there are three wires running to each coil pack, are the three wires HOT, GROUND, and OBD monitoring?

I havn't been able to find, but if any of the NSXs were OBD1, do these coil packs only have two wires going to each of them?

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the ignition system, on any NSX, C30B or C32B.

seriously though, its OBD (on board diagnostics) and honda went to OBDII in 1996.

The NSX went to OBD II in the 95 MY.

I thought all cars switched over to OBDII in the 96 MY? Pre 96 was OBDI. Thats how it was for my Supra. Did some cars switch between different years?

'96 was the MY required by law but manufacturers were free to beat the deadline.

That's it, just go to the electronic copies heading and click on the Honda link and it will take you to the website to download a zip file. Diagrams are depicted inside the pdf file that is contained in the zip file.
