Well i'm looking at buying an x finally now that my car is paid off, noticed this one on autotrader and it kinda made me laugh.

1991 ACURA NSX, Auto, Exotic Car, Very Rare, Excellent Condition, 95k mi, Ferrari Exhaust And Headers, New Timming Belt, $22,900

edit: okay i guess that wasent really a question but i thought it was kind of humorous.

It is a modded car..sounds cool...depends if you want an original car or one that is modded - I bet it does not have original rims!

Please post a pic or a link.

Dam:cool:

well i wish i could afford a low mileage one, but i only make about 65-70k a year, so i'm going to have to settle for something in the sub 30k$ range for now. Be a good starter car i suppose. I found this one which is only 150 miles from where i live so i might go check it out, its in the price range, and nearby.

anyone else think this is the exact same car in 2 different adds

nsx #1

nsx #2

It might have a Tubi exhaust.

....And these are NSXs, not Xs.

I was about to say the same thing.

The OP says he wants to buy an "X". I was going to suggest contacting that Sesame Street character who sells vowels and consonants from his trench coat...

Eclipsed, just messing w/ you. Good luck w/ your search for an "NSX".

Referring the NSX to as a "X", you are opening a can of worms. Get out your flame retardant suit.

Just make sure maintenace is up to date. Good luck.

Tread carefully and be patient. There are good early examples available as davidf has proven.

From the links you've posted, the White one looks to have had frontal paint / bodywork as the hood alignment does not look good. The red one, which is the same in both links, has had a LOT of paint to the rear valance and bumper. I'd suggest even a full respray at some point hence the non black roof (though this may be std USA spec??) but also the small triangular window moulding by the mirror is now red. I'd also suggest that the front lip has been added recently to cover either rock damage or worse, otherwise it would be red to match the rest of the car.

HTH and good luck in your search.

LMAO, usually Ferrari exhaust means quad tips:rolleyes:. I pd. $28000 for a 51,000 mile car. It is possible!
h

Ha! This is how you hijack a thread.
I gotcha beat on the bargan. I paid 28.5k for a absolute perfect 40k X with
Comptech clutch, exhaust, gears, adj. Suspension, and Volk AV 3's.

And what is the big deal with calling an NSX an X? I refer to my
NSX everyday as the X?
Then again, I do own about 15 cars, so shorter names seem natural.

Yes there are good deals out there OP so keep looking and something will turn up. I've just bought mine (1991 Berlina Black) with 63,000 miles for under $30K and its got a whole host of great mods (JDM Short Gears, newer clutch, wheels, headers, etc) and the car is accident free and mint!

Actually there's a nice 2nd owner 1991 Black/Ivory NSX for sale in the "ForSale" section of prime for $32K...assuming you might be able to haggle a bit you might just get a better deal on it? There's also a nice Silver 1991 for sale too I believe.

Keep looking on Prime and you'l be fine.

You can call it anything you want, but most owners don't refer to their NSX as an X. Maybe it's because a lot of other cars have names that end in X - RDX, RSX, MDX, etc. Anyway, if you talk to people (even NSX owners) about "the X", they'll probably look at you strangely. Like referring to your car as "Queenie" or any other nickname.

Or Bee! Btw If you told 1000 people you owned an X no one would know what car you had.

I've seen the red one before. It looks decent enough from first glance, but it's a rollover. Stay far away.

Very hard to find a decent NSX under $30k. If you do, let me know haha.

Yeah i'm not referring to them as "x"s anymore, i was having dinner with my girlfriends family this weekend and mentioned that i might be holding off on my 240/s15 project, she asked why, and i said i'm looking for my x finally, and she was like "well thats one hell of a way to break up with me" i had to spend the rest of the night explaining to her what i meant.

That, right there, is the best reason so far!
