How high off the ground (measuring from ground to frame) does the NSX need to be for removing a 5-speed transmission? In other words, is it practical to do without a lift?
You DEFINATELY don't want to pull the tranny without a lift. Putting the car on jacks would be basically impossible to get the tranny out. You need to be able to get a tranny jack under the car.

Bad news. I could support and lower the tranny with a regular floor jack, but I guess there would not be sufficient clearance to roll it out. Could be a problem since I don't know a place I would trust that would agree to work with my parts.
I've pull so many normal transmissions myself that it never occurred to me that I might need to have someone else do it.
