I'm a SoCal guy. I'm flying to meet a great friend at Longboat Key to sail this weekend. He's a LSU alum! Should be a tense Saturday night! If UCLA wins and I don't come back you'll know who to look for :biggrin: Hoping for a good game.
I can't believe this team, what heart! When I went and we won back in 95, we expected the team to win the championship. This team I never expected to get this far. Serious props goes out to coach Howland. The defense is for real and these kids are tough. That Gonzaga game was not luck, that was good hard defense and a will to win. They didn't win it with one lucky play, it was a series of good plays and Gonzaga collapsing. Props to Mbah A Moute too, he's gonna be a lottery pick in a couple years.
Could this be #12 to hang up in Pauley? We'll see monday. Whether we win or lose, this team exceeded all expectations. I caught the last championship game at Ackerman Union and had the hardest time trying to drive out past the crowds in Westwood Village.

That was their best performance of the year. Completely dominated the favored LSU team. You know things are going good when Michael Fey and Janou Rubin are in the game at the same time.
Big Baby was huffing and puffing :biggrin: just trying to keep up with our boys. They get little respect but what heart and ability to execute coach Howland's game plan. I was hoping they could get at least 20 wins this year. 30+ wins and shot at the title! Can't wait for last game of the year.
Ackerman sounds like fun but my rear end will be planted on my couch staring at the 73" HiDef screen!

Congrats to Florida! They played a great game. Still, props to my boys in Westwood. No quit in this team. Most exciting season we've had in 11 years.

This was a totally unexpected season. Hard to believe we got this far... Still a Bruin for life and real proud of this team!
