Programmer Wanted!!!

Hi all. I'm working on starting a business project and am looking to talk to a good software programmer that would be able to write a program from scratch if need be. The program will need to do a number of different tasks among those are to control robotic functions. I know this forum has a collective wealth of knowledge and connections so am asking for anyone's assistance to point me in the right direction or to the right people.

not a requirement, i think that as far as the programming as long as we can stay in touch and can clearly communicate what they can do and what i need anywhere will be fine. That's my take.

There's a number of places where you can get in touch with SW developers. Can you give more details on what OS, whether there will a PC based application, or embedded only, etc?

Sorry for leaving this thread hanging, I'm still interested in any and all applications. I've been dealing with Rita problems this past week, and my area still does not have electricity yet. As far as specifics on the project, personally i do consider it to be a big project require alot of functions controling robotic type machines, requires scaleabilty, queries from database, remote access, etc... as far as OS i guess that's up in the air I guess the individual programmer will have to sell me on individual OS's, It will be for commercial use so i will not disscuss too much the type just yet and you will definetely be under contract. Are you talking about designing PLC-like software? At what stage or are you planning on programming an interface to existing robotic controllers?
