As a knife collector, I've always regarded QVC knife products as crap. This clip only confirms my belief.
The accident appears to be the result of two things: the salesman slaps the sword in a manner that is harmful to any sword, and that particular sword is so cheaply made that the blade breaks off at the handle. Stay hot, bubba.
