Looking to get my car completely detailed. Anyone know the going rate nowadays to do it or are prices all over the place? Any one had their car detailed by Jimmy G's in Gilroy? Appreciate any help.....

really hard to say.
U'll have to show up with the car and have them look it over and see what u want and what they can do for u.
besides this allows u to inspect the shop and see their work...........

Well, I decided to take my car to Jimmy G's in Gilroy and had the work done on the car yesterday. I asked for the focus to be on the paint and interior because there was only one day to do it and not the usual 3 days to complete the detail of everything nose to tail.
It was a 100 mile drive for me but worth every mile. Let me say the work they do is top notch. And, my standards are very high!! What I got was an education in detailing a car, especially the paint and how to do it right. Make no bones about it, I learned detailing a car is an art not science. Jimmy (owner) worked on the car himself and talked through the entire process to educate me on maintaining the car. 10 hours later I left with knowledge and the right tools to maintain the car right. His product is superb and put Meguires I use today to shame. Needless to say, a very successful day, learned a lot and very comfortable Jimmy G's is only a phone call away for any detailing needs.
He does classes on detailing cars. My personal view, an NSX class would be well worth the time. I did buy his label product and compared it too Meguires. Wow what a difference. Regards....Andrew
